Synopsis

An emergency room doctor is thrust into an Ebola pandemic after a failed vaccine causes the disease to spread. Dr. McCarthy makes a desperate stand against the virus in an overwhelmed Dallas emergency room, but when normal procedures fail, she flees the city with her family and a nurse. As society collapses around them, they face a perilous journey to East Texas, encountering more victims, unexpected allies, and a violent gun battle against desperate survivors.
