🧸 The Children of Noisy Village 🧸
Okay, I’m gonna be brutally honest — this book is VERY f•••••• childish. 😭📖
Like… these are literally just little kids living their cute little lives, having adventures, playing around and doing random s••• in their tiny little village. 🧸🌿 And somehow… I actually kind of liked the vibe.
The whole book has this really cozy, wholesome and weirdly nostalgic feeling. It’s basically just children being children, and even though I’m obviously way too old to be the target audience, I still found the atmosphere pretty cute. The village, the little adventures, the friendships and all the everyday stuff gave it a really cool old-school vibe. 🕯️🍂
BUT let’s not f•••••• lie — if you’re 14+, this book is probably going to feel VERY young. 😭 At some points I was basically sitting there thinking: “Girl… I am fourteen. What the hell am I doing here?” 💀
There’s no huge drama, no crazy plot twists, no dark mystery, no insane action — it’s literally just kids having fun and living their little lives. And honestly, that can be really nice when you want something simple, but it definitely isn’t the kind of book that keeps me screaming “WHAT THE F••• HAPPENS NEXT?!” 😭
Still, I can’t even hate it completely because the vibe was actually pretty cool. 🧸🌿 It feels warm, innocent and nostalgic, and I can totally understand why younger kids would absolutely love it.
For me, though? Cute s•••, beautiful little adventures, adorable children… but at 14+? Yeah, this is kind of an absolute s••••••• for my taste. 😭💀
So basically: great for younger readers, cute as hell, but definitely not my age group anymore.
Final rating: 7/10 🧸🌿
Would I reread it? Probably not. 💀
Would I recommend it to younger readers? Absolutely.
For 14+? Honestly… good f•••••• luck. 😭
