Lissa looks after a small museum of fairytale artefacts on Ever After Street, and she loves it more than is sensible. When a property developer buys the building out from under it, that love is suddenly the only thing standing between the collection and a demolition date.
The developer is Warren Berrington, who gives her three months to make the museum worth keeping, and who is considerably harder to dislike than the situation requires. Then things start happening on their own: a spinning wheel turns, a glass slipper goes missing, objects turn up where nobody left them, and the museum becomes the thing everybody wants to see.
Lissa lets herself hope, and then wonders whether Warren is arranging all of it. Book six of Jaimie Admans' Ever After Street series, a romance that reads as a complete story on its own.
