Synopsis

Blackthorn lost everything — husband, child, and calling — to a corrupt chieftain named Mathuin. Freed from wrongful imprisonment by one of the Fae, she strikes a bargain: her life and freedom in exchange for seven years spent using her healer's gift for anyone who asks, and setting aside her plans for revenge. Followed by Grim, a silent, damaged man from her prison days, she settles on the edge of a mysterious forest in Dalriada.

When Crown Prince Oran's promised bride arrives and turns out to be nothing like the woman he fell in love with through her letters, Oran turns to Blackthorn for help untangling what's wrong. Dreamer's Pool blends fairy tale and grounded, often brutal reality in the first book of the Blackthorn & Grim series, set in a magical version of early medieval Ireland.
