I still don’t know if I like Dario or not. On one hand, it’s really sweet how he rescues his dog and how he is with his nieces and father-in-law, but he had only seen Eden once, and his thoughts were so intense that he was already talking about sex when he didn’t even know her name.
It was definitely insta-love, though that’s common in these books. What I couldn’t take seriously was Eden’s dancing. At no point is it mentioned that she took classes or researched dance techniques on her own; it’s just stated that she dances with a lot of feeling. It didn’t convince me that a lover and expert in the arts, and the owner of a ballet academy, would be so mesmerized by a beginner.
I liked it more when the second half started and there was more action.
I’d say I liked it more than the previous book, but just barely. Still, I know myself, and I’ll be reading Damiano’s book anyway.
