Shin Towada is a Japanese novelist who writes prose spin-offs of manga series. Towada wrote the Tokyo Ghoul novels Days, Void and Past, illustrated by the series creator Sui Ishida, and the Naruto novel Sasuke's Story: Sunrise, based on Masashi Kishimoto's manga. The English editions are published by VIZ Media.
Sui Ishida is a Japanese manga artist born in Fukuoka Prefecture. He is best known for the dark fantasy series Tokyo Ghoul, serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump from 2011 to 2014, and its sequel Tokyo Ghoul:re (2014 to 2018). The English edition of Tokyo Ghoul reached the New York Times bestseller list in 2015. His later series Choujin X began serialization in 2021.
