Synopsis

Written from the front lines of the Vietnam War, this classic of war reportage offers an unforgettable and unflinching look at the chaos and fervor of combat. Michael Herr's unsparing and unorthodox retellings of day-to-day events in Vietnam capture the surreal insanity of the combat zone. This blistering and compassionate account renders clarity from one of the most incomprehensible and nightmarish events of our time.
