Synopsis

A short prequel to Witches of East End, written as Ingrid Beauchamp's diary. She has come home to North Hampton after time away, is looking for work and finds it at the local library, and is setting down what she notices: her mother, her sister, the town, and the first signs that something has followed the family here. About thirty pages, published as an ebook only, and best read as an opening vignette rather than a story that resolves.
