Synopsis

Devotion tells the inspirational story of Lieutenant Tom Hudner and Ensign Jesse Brown, the U.S. Navy's most famous aviator duo, and the Marines they fought to defend during the Korean War. Tom, a white New Englander, and Jesse, the Navy's first Black carrier pilot, became wingmen in Fighter Squadron 32, navigating a nation divided by segregation. The narrative takes readers into the cockpit with these bold aviators and into the foxholes with Marines like PFC 'Red' Parkinson as they battle a North Korean invasion.
