Synopsis

When the tormented composer Baron Eisuke Tsubaki dies, his feuding family holds a séance to contact his spirit — and unleashes a string of murders instead. Detective Kosuke Kindaichi is drawn in to untangle the secrets binding the Tsubaki household, as the baron's most famous composition, a haunting flute melody, seems to sound before each new death. A classic locked-room mystery from Seishi Yokomizo, one of Japan's most celebrated Golden Age crime writers, and part of his long-running Detective Kosuke Kindaichi series.
