Synopsis

The third book of Kristen Britain's "Green Rider" series finds Karigan G'ladheon fully embracing her role as one of the king's elite messengers. When the ancient wall that has kept the sorcerer Mornhavon the Black's power sealed away for a thousand years begins to weaken, Karigan is drawn into a dangerous mission that takes her far from the safety of the capital, into territory where old magic and older evils are stirring back to life.

As political intrigue deepens at court and enemies both foreign and magical circle closer, Karigan must rely on the brooch that marks her as a Green Rider — and on abilities she is only beginning to understand — to protect the kingdom from a threat that predates living memory.

"Der Schwarze Thron" is the German translation of "The High King's Tomb," the third book in Kristen Britain's Green Rider series (published in German as part of the "Reiter-Trilogie").
