Synopsis

A catastrophic deluge submerges most of the world, leaving only the highest peaks of England above water. Amidst the chaos, a small group of survivors must navigate a new, dangerous world where civilization has crumbled. They face not only the harsh realities of nature but also the struggle to rebuild society and maintain humanity in the face of overwhelming loss.

Sydney Fowler Wright was born in the Kings Norton district of Birmingham. He attended school until age eleven, at which point he worked full time. He spent his spare time studying literature, and in 1917 he helped found the Empire Poetry League and edited its journal, Poetry.
