Deeper than the Sea

Deeper than the Sea
Synopsis
Deeper than the Sea is the second novel in Anna Augustin's Alaskan Coast Guards series, set among the rescue swimmers of the US Coast Guard on Kodiak Island, Alaska.
Yuna fled Alaska five years earlier, unable to face her best friend Scott or the guilt she carries over his father's death. When circumstances bring her back home, she is given an unexpected chance to pursue the dream she once abandoned — and to open her heart again.
The novel follows the slow rebuilding of trust between Yuna and the people she left behind, set against the rugged backdrop of the Alaskan coast and the daily risks faced by the Coast Guard's rescue crews.
