Synopsis

Naval physician Peter Crane is summoned to a remote Atlantic drilling platform to diagnose a mysterious illness spreading among the crew — only to learn the real secret lies far below, in Deep Storm, a heavily guarded facility built to excavate what may be the ruins of Atlantis. As the illness worsens and the excavation closes in on its prize, Crane realizes the discovery beneath the ocean floor is far stranger, and far more dangerous, than anyone has told him. The first novel to feature Lincoln Child's recurring investigator, Jeremy Logan.
