Deep Hole

Published
2022

Synopsis

Don Winslow returns to the surf breaks of Rhode Island for a short story set in 1975, in and around the spot local surfers call Deep Hole. It is a town where everyone knows everyone else's debts and everyone else's business.

Gambling, small-time crime and an unlikely love story braid together in a piece that runs closer to Winslow's crime work than to his other surfing shorts, told with the dry wit and economy he is known for.

An Audible Original story of roughly an hour, performed by Ed Harris.
