Deception

When a Portland State University professor is found murdered in his home, homicide detective Ollie Chandler is called in — and the physical evidence points toward someone inside his own department. As Ollie, still questioning his own blackouts and whereabouts on the night of the murder, digs deeper with journalist Clarence Abernathy and their friend Jake Woods, the case pulls all three into political corruption and a conspiracy that reaches far beyond one crime scene. Narrated in Ollie's wry, first-person voice, Deception is the third novel in Randy Alcorn's Ollie Chandler series, following Deadline and Dominion.
