Synopsis

Death in Paradise is the third novel in Robert B. Parker's Jesse Stone series. When the body of a teenage girl washes ashore, Chief Jesse Stone and his partner Suit begin an investigation that uncovers a dark undercurrent beneath the town's quiet surface. What starts as a murder case evolves into a hunt for a predator who has been exploiting the vulnerable for years. Gritty, atmospheric, and relentlessly paced, this is quintessential hardboiled crime fiction from one of the masters of the genre.
