Death by Espresso

Bookstore-cafe owner Krissy Hancock is juggling maid-of-honour duties for her best friend Vicki's wedding when a murder lands in her lap. Vicki's theatrical parents arrive at the Pine Hills, Ohio airport with an unexpected entourage — including Krissy's father and his new girlfriend — and complications follow.

Among the uninvited guests is a prominent wedding planner with a compulsive taste for chocolate-covered espresso beans. When the planner is struck and chokes on one, Krissy becomes the prime suspect.

To save her friend's wedding, Krissy has to work out who really ended the planner's supposedly stellar career. The sixth Bookstore Cafe Mystery can be read on its own.
