Synopsis

During World War II, American nurse Annie Rawlings is captured behind enemy lines and finds herself caring for a wounded German soldier. Despite their nations' conflict, they form an unexpected bond through shared experiences and a love for music. Their fragile connection is soon tested by prejudice and separation when the soldier is sent to a prisoner-of-war camp. Annie embarks on a search for him, even as others encourage her to move on with her life.
