Temple Baker knows evil runs in her blood — her father is the North Point Killer, convicted of murdering twenty people at the family's old campground and infamous for branding each of his victims. She never believed he killed her mother too, despite the disappearance, until he confesses to that murder from death row.
To find proof and finally lay her mother to rest, Temple returns to the old family property, now reborn as a sleepaway camp for Black LGBTQ+ teens interested in horror. Swallowing her discomfort with forced camaraderie, she takes a job as a counselor. She's barely settled into camp life before a body turns up in the woods — and the first death is only the beginning of a terrifying weekend that forces Temple to confront exactly how much of her father is in her.
