Daughter of Winter

Elice, daughter of the isolated Winter Queen, dreams of a world beyond her icy queendom. When she rescues Adar, a survivor of a shipwreck, she must hide him from her mother, whose dark nature becomes increasingly apparent. As Elice realizes she is as much a prisoner as Adar, they flee, only to uncover a sinister darkness spreading across the world, tied to an ancient bargain Elice was born to fulfill.
