On a sunless alien world, 532 descendants of two abandoned explorers struggle for survival. Confined to a single, barely habitable valley, they huddle for warmth around geothermal trees, facing slow starvation. This is the story of the Family, as they navigate the harsh realities of their isolated existence and the challenges of building a society in an unforgiving environment.
