Synopsis

Widowed young nurse-midwife Tess Hartsong flees to remote Runaway Mountain, Tennessee, to grieve after her husband's sudden death. There she meets Ian North, a famous, furious street artist hiding out in a luxury cabin to escape his fans and rediscover his muse after his abusive father's death. As Tess navigates the small town's suspicion of outsiders — and fights for the local teens' access to real sex education — she and Ian slowly help each other find their way back to life and love.
