Frequently asked questions

  • Is Damned part of a series?

Damned is the first book in a duology, followed by Doomed. While each book features the same protagonist, the overarching narrative continues across both volumes.

  • How does Damned compare to Chuck Palahniuk's other works?

Damned maintains Palahniuk's signature dark humor and satirical edge, but it offers a more direct narrative structure and a clearer protagonist's journey compared to some of his earlier, more experimental novels. It also explores themes of adolescence and the afterlife in a way distinct from his typical social commentary.
