This book was the perfect length and had all my favorite tropes: grumpy x sunshine, a small town filled with meddling folks, and a second chance at love. Who doesn’t love second chances? 🤗

It follows Farrah and Walker, who were high school sweethearts that separated when Walker made it to the Baseball Major Leagues. But sometimes life throws a curveball… and years later, Farrah, newly divorced with a toddler, crosses paths with Walker again after he’s injured and comes back to his hometown to recover. The rest is history! ⚾️🤍

You’ll want to read this to see how their journey goes. I promise you won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely be reading more books by Brittany Storm in the future!
