Synopsis

Curtsies & Conspiracies continues Gail Carriger's Finishing School series as Sophronia nears the end of her first year at Mademoiselle Geraldine's, the airborne academy that teaches its students espionage under the guise of etiquette. A school outing to London during the social Season turns into something far more dangerous when Sophronia uncovers a plot with consequences for both supernatural and human society, forcing her to put her spy training to real use for the first time.

Steampunk gadgetry, comic banter, and a widening web of alliances and rivalries carry the series' trademark wit into its second installment.
