Synopsis

Nicola Tarrant agrees to pose as a bride to help her young friend escape an unwanted arranged marriage. However, the formidable Don Luis Alvarado de Montalba sees through the deception and, instead of letting her go, whisks her away to his Mexican hacienda and forces her to marry him. Trapped and with no escape, Nicola must navigate her new reality and the powerful man who now controls her life.
