First and foremost, the dedication in this book “For you, with the big heart, who has long suspected you feel too much. You feel exactly enough,” really resonated with me and gave me good vibes for this book and it did not disappoint. This is a new to me author, and now one I’m going to be looking for and reading past books and any new books.
I loved how this book gave me some Harry & Megan vibes but with a complete twist.
Zelda is an actress/ movie star and has a famous daddy. Benedict, is thrusted into being the King after a tragic accident happens leaving him the next in line for the throne. Zelda’s friend, Devina, gets Zelda into a house party, the steamy kind. 😉
That’s when Zelda and King Benedict’s relationship starts and even gets extended from just one night to a weekend. Even with all the ups and downs, I couldn’t help to keep rooting for them. With the unexpected pregnancy, communication mishaps, and overall pining for one another it was an excellent book and I recommend this one, hands down.

This audiobook hooked me from the beginning. Both June Deborahae and William MacLeod made the characters come to life completely. Perfect combination with Zelda’s regular English accent and Benedict’s British accent, it definitely elevated the whole listening experience. The way that each brought Zelda and Benedict to life was perfectly balanced and truly delivered that emotional connection. They didn’t just read the story for me, they brought it to life and turned it into a movie for my own imagination and enjoyment. The emotions felt raw and real and not overdone or overly dramatic. This book is a definite recommend as an audiobook over just reading it.
