Cool Machine

Synopsis

In 1980s Harlem, Ray Carney runs two lives: by day he owns a furniture store, and at night he operates as a high-end fence for stolen goods. When his wife's business is threatened, the line between his public respectability and private criminality blurs further. Across three interlocking stories set in 1981, 1983, and 1986, Ray, his old associate Pepper, and a young man framed for murder are drawn into escalating heists and conspiracies that expose the cost of survival on the city's edge.
