Synopsis

Seventeen-year-old Maverick Carter believes a real man provides for his family, leading him to deal for the King Lords while his father is in prison. His life takes an unexpected turn when he discovers he's a father, forcing him to juggle school, dealing, and raising his son, Seven. When a chance to leave his old life behind appears, Mav takes it, but escaping the King Lords' influence proves difficult. He must confront loyalty, revenge, and responsibility to discover what it truly means to be a man, especially after a tragic loss.
