This was the book that got me into pop-science. I absolutely love the idea of going behind the scenes of how the most famous discoveries were made, and the stories of people who made them. For a topic as lofty as astrophysics, this book was surprisingly accessible and not at all difficult to follow. In fact, this might be the easiest book to read on the topic.
