honestly, I am very disappointed by these series, i think the writer should have stopped at the trilogy, because from that point it kept getting worse. Starting from book four, the story became repetitive, the characters annoying, there are uneeded details (who cares about what Clary is wearing at all times) the details with Cassandra Clare become a source of boredom and repetition, the writing lacks fluidity, it's just a series of unfortunate events, replacing Valentine with Lilith, then Sebastian, and Clary always running to save Jace... I find that The MI is the soap opera of books, poor cliffhangers that lead to predictable conclusions and characters that have barely developped.
