Synopsis

A generation ago, the city of Voortyashtan was the stronghold of the god of war and death, a place that birthed fearsome supernatural sentinels. Now, its god is dead, and the city lies in ruins, a wasteland of sectarian violence. General Turyin Mulaghesh, a rumored war criminal and hero, is exiled there, ostensibly to count down her days to retirement. However, her presence in the volatile city may be the perfect cover for a deeper mission.
