Synopsis

From a slave boy sold at auction to a prodigal heir, this is the story of Thorby's growth across a vast and varied galaxy. Bought by a seemingly disabled beggar named Baslim, Thorby learns about family and self-reliance, unaware that his new father is an abolitionist spy. When danger strikes, Thorby must navigate a hostile galaxy with the Free Traders, finding his own strength and discovering his true identity.
