It was witty yet so hectic and I love the characters’ interactions although at times it can be annoyingly stressful to handle Aunt Queenie’s personality— she really reminds me to that four aunties in Dial A For Aunties.

Slightly intense with a bit of father-daughter conflict which kind of heartwarmingly plotted at the end, love the friendship in between Chloe and Cia as well how the author managed to explore Chloe’s dynamics in between her wanting to become a good daughter while chasing her dream as an animator. A charming unexpected falling in love scenes and I like that it blended with humor a bit— loving both Peter and Raph also, that one of the kaishao boys who made me go swooning over him and Chloe, their chemistry was too cute!

This’ll be a sweetheart read for teens (nothing explicit) and as an adult, I enjoyed it as much too for how comfortable the narrative goes; somehow I understand now why it has an over 4 stars average rating in Goodreads.

Thank you Times Reads for the gifted review copy!","none","rv-01kr82e729n3xtkvsxs4m5yxjh",[],"2026-05-10T04:30:59.000000Z
"https://api.seekquel.app/api/works/01kr82e4wzv6ner5j8zga5jz37/reviews",20]
