Benjamin Lacombe
Benjamin Lacombe (born 12 July 1982 in Paris) is a French author, illustrator, and painter, widely regarded as one of the leading figures of contemporary French illustration. He trained at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD) in Paris, entering in 2001. His graduation project, Cerise Griotte, became his first children's book, published by Seuil Jeunesse in 2006 and later released in the United States, where Time magazine named it one of the ten best children's books of 2007...
