I don't know if I like this book better than the first, but I feel as if I do. It could be because I just finished reading it five minutes ago, and quite literally devoured it.
The writing style still bugs me and I feel like this book had some serious issues with pacing, especially near the beginning, but that didn't stop me. I am really enjoying this series.
