I can't believe I am writing a review for the last book in this series. I loved the conclusion to Thomas and Audrey's story especially how it all ties to the beginning of the book reminded me of the horror movie trope. I specifically think about one of my favorite movies horror movies, Scream 3, when one of the characters says "true trilogies are all about going back to the beginning and discovering something that wasn't true from the get-go." I thought about this quote as I was going through this story, learning something new at the end, I also love how it was all wrapped up, I am going to miss these characters and this overall story. For years, I have been wanting to read this book due to the thriller/horror aspect but the historical side of it intimidated me, I am glad I took the opportunity to read it though.
