Captain Marvel
Synopsis
In this volume of Kelly Sue DeConnick's Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers and Monica Rambeau dive into a decades-old mechanical mystery beneath the ocean, uncovering secrets tied to a WWII submarine crew. When Carol returns home, she finds herself changed — something is quietly weakening her powers and threatening to ground her for good.
DeConnick pairs pulpy adventure with a slower character study of Carol trying to figure out what, exactly, is happening to her body and her abilities.
