Synopsis

Canon Alberic, an antiquarian priest, becomes obsessed with a mysterious manuscript he finds in the cathedral of Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminge. The scrapbook belonged to a previous canon and contains pages of old illuminations — but one page is blank until it begins to fill itself with disturbing images that bring misfortune to anyone who reads them.
