Canary Cowards

The Canary Cowards is an angst-filled love story told from two perspectives. Dylan, a proud physiotherapist fresh out of school, never imagined falling for a client, and certainly not fallen football star Lake Decker. His over-confident, broody attitude has her biting her tongue to keep her job, and her secrets, while Lake keeps pushing her to unravel both.

Lake Decker was the league's best running back before a debilitating injury forced him to step back from his career. He's used to women falling for him, not the other way around, but his stale-looking therapist's saucy attitude, strict professionalism, and the occasional shiner have his curiosity piqued.

Both know how to act tough in the face of adversity, but underneath it, they're nothing but a couple of cowards, too scared to embrace the torture that is love.
