Synopsis

Ben Dalton has always been honest, except where his heart is concerned. For years he has been quietly in love with his best friend, the saucy, smart-mouthed Aurelia Stark, but Ben is a planner, and the timing has never been right. Just as he finally works up the nerve to make his move, Aurelia beats him to it with a move of her own, all the way to a different town. She loves her new life in charming Harmony Pointe, where she has a great apartment and her very own bookstore, and where a little distance might finally let her get over the commitment-phobic friend she has crushed on for far too long. Then a baby is left on Ben's front porch, presumably his, and everything changes. Aurelia is instantly there for him, even though neither of them knows the first thing about babies. Set in the small town of Harmony Pointe, this funny, heartwarming romance follows two lifelong friends thrown headfirst into diapers, sleepless nights, and the search for the baby's mother. As they stumble through it together, Ben and Aurelia inch toward the honesty, and the happily ever after, they have both been avoiding.

Frequently asked questions

  • Can I read Call Her Mine as a standalone, or do I need to read the series in order?

You can read Call Her Mine on its own. It is book 1 of Harmony Pointe, one of the interconnected sub-series in Melissa Foster's Love in Bloom collection, and every Love in Bloom book is written as a standalone with its own complete romance and a guaranteed happily ever after. Reading the series in order simply lets you follow the extended family as familiar characters reappear across the books.

  • Who are the main characters in Call Her Mine?

Call Her Mine follows Ben Dalton and Aurelia Stark. Their romance is the heart of the book, set among the big, close-knit families Melissa Foster's readers return for.

  • How steamy is Call Her Mine?

Call Her Mine is an open-door contemporary romance, so it pairs its emotional story with on-page love scenes. Readers who prefer sweeter, closed-door versions can look for Melissa Foster's clean-language editions published under her pen name, Addison Cole.
