Synopsis

Chandler Cohen writes books that carry other people's names. At a signing for one of her own ghostwritten titles, the credited author looks straight at her and has no idea who she is. She ends the evening at a bar, where she meets a charming man and feels an instant connection.

The hookup that follows is an awkward one, full of mishaps, and Chandler decides to forget it. Then her next job arrives: ghostwriting a memoir for Finn Walsh, a C-list actor. He played a lovable nerd on a cult werewolf show and now earns his living at fan conventions around the country. He is also the man from the bar.

Chandler wants the working relationship kept strictly professional. Then she tells Finn the night was not as good as he believed, and he is crushed. Curious about him, she offers a deal: when they are not working on the memoir, she will teach him what it takes to satisfy a partner.

The romance has a workplace setup and a comic tone, built on an arrangement that blurs the line between the job and the bedroom. The question is whether the book and the affair can coexist, or whether one has to give way to the other.
