Ava Hunter has done it yeeetttt again!!! Nothing makes me want to find a cowboy more than Runaway Ranch.
Country-Pop Princess, Reese, is tired of the fame, tired of feeling like a puppet, tired of the dark spot that is constantly in her mind. In a moment of vulnerability, her opening act Grady sends her to his family ranch and care of his older brother Ford to hide out. Despite the rocky introduction the two face, these two find camaraderie, safety and love while trying to get Reese away from her manipulative manager.
ON MY HANDS AND KNEES BEGGING THE WORLD TO READ THIS BOOK BECAUSE IT IS SO SO GOOD I CRY.
Ford, the man you are!! Admittedly, in the previous books, I was a little wary of Ford and wasn't sure how he was going to save himself in my eyes, but once we were in his POV, I was done for. The reasons why he hated love, his own demons he was battling. He's just a soft man with a tough exterior. And my sweet baby Reese!! The way the depression, black spot, whatever you want to call it that was presented in this book was done, chef's kiss. For anyone who battles with mental health, this was so well done it's like Ava plucked the thoughts straight from my head.
If you're FREE BRITTNEY stan, the plot of this book is definitely for you. I wanted to reach into the screen of my kindle and shake her manager. But! Watching Reese come into her self, stand up and learn how to be on her own was the best kind of growth! She was so so strong by the end of the book and the outcome of her journey was so well deserved!
Also, the brothers on the ranch continue to be the best, I love them so so much, I loved seeing them interact with one another.
Thank you SO much Valentine PR and Ava Hunter for an ARC in exchange for an honest review!
