Synopsis

Tate Brandt and Jared Trent were once inseparable childhood best friends, the kind who lived in each other's pockets. Then, the summer before high school, Jared turned on her without explanation — and spent the next three years making Tate's life miserable, encouraging everyone around them to do the same. Worn down, Tate finally escaped for a year abroad in France.

Now she's back for her senior year, and she's done hiding. Tate refuses to let Jared control her any longer, meeting his cruelty with a new steeliness of her own. But standing up to him only intensifies the charged, complicated pull between them — and as their war of wills escalates, Tate begins to uncover the painful secret behind why the boy who once loved her set out to destroy her.

The first book in Penelope Douglas's hugely popular Fall Away series, Bully is an angsty, high-heat enemies-to-lovers romance — a divisive, addictive story of bullying, buried history, and the thin line between hatred and desire.
