When i realised that this book was about Carys and Rune, I was quite disappointed and was prepared to just quickly read it and get it out the way. In my own head I thought, they are already together so what's the point of giving them their own book?? Let me tell you, this book was amazing - both plotwise and romance wise.

The chemistry between Carys and Rune was undeniable, however, it was clear that their relationship was not solid and that they had many challenges which they had to face. This is what in my mind allowed this book to thrive. Rune's mysterious past and connection to a dark underworld allowed the plot to remain interesting.

The storyline was well developed, I really enjoyed the continuation of the Atlantean plot twist and look forward to read more about Zael .... swoon.
