Synopsis

In the Ichidian Universe, the League and its assassins rule through fear. Nykyrian Quikiades once turned his back on the League and has been hunted for it ever since — but no one has managed to kill him or stop him from completing a mission: protecting Kiara Zamir, a woman whose father's political alliances have made her a target for kidnapping and murder.

Kiara must entrust her life to the same kind of man who once killed her mother and left her for dead. Old enemies and new threaten them both, and the only way either survives is by learning to trust the other. Born of Night opens Sherrilyn Kenyon's League series, a science-fiction romance spun off from her Dark-Hunter universe but readable independently.
