Bonded by Thorns

Rosalina's father is taken prisoner in the Enchanted Vale, a fae court ruled by four cursed princes. The only way to win his freedom is to bargain with all four of them. The bargain keeps her at their court, and getting to know each prince in turn turns out to be more complicated than paying off a debt.

A fifth prince, Caspian, ruler of Thorns, is working to steal the vale's magic for his own ends. The closer Rosalina gets to the other four, the harder it is to stay out of his way. The court's politics start to bend around her too.

This is an adult fantasy romance built on the why-choose model, so no single suitor wins out. The story is a spicy retelling of Beauty and the Beast, told partly from Rosalina's side and partly from the four princes'. Both male-female and male-male pairings appear along the way.

The book is the first in the Beasts of the Briar series. None of the bargains, curses or romances are settled by the end, and it closes on a cliffhanger that carries straight into the next book.
