Ami Polonsky
Ami Polonsky is an American author of middle-grade and young adult fiction, and a middle school English teacher. She grew up in the Chicago suburbs and now lives outside Chicago, in Deerfield, Illinois, with her family. Her debut novel, Gracefully Grayson (2014), follows a transgender protagonist and was named to the ALA Rainbow List; she has since published Threads, Spin with Me, and World Made of Glass.
