Synopsis

Perhaps on Earth... Perhaps in the future... Killy is a taciturn cyborg who wanders through a gigantic, labyrinthine city, sprawling across thousands of levels. Armed with a radiation-amplifying revolver and accompanied by Shibo, a scientist, he sets out in search of the "net-gene," a program that supposedly escaped the global contamination of a computer virus and is capable of controlling the world. Blame! takes place in a high-tech, organic universe where flesh merges with metal, at the crossroads of Gunnm and Akira. The highly visual narrative focuses primarily on action and the creation of a humid, twilight atmosphere. The contrast between the meticulous, polished setting and the somewhat sketchy nature of the characters reinforces the strange and unique atmosphere that emanates from this work. A modern-day Dungeons & Dragons set in a cyberpunk universe. A series that is gaining increasing popularity, and rightly so!
